Definition
In RVI terms, Turnaround is the estimated Outage time, or the time it takes to complete an Overhaul of a system. Maintenance technicians will use Borescopes, Video Borescopes, and other Inspection Cameras to document the condition of internal components. By doing this, they can reliably predict when those internal parts may fail. Reducing the Turnaround on an Outage or Overhaul means that the system is offline for as little as possible, and remains as profitable as possible.
